Poppy's Morning Walk

Poppy is strolling northward along Vanderbilt Beach.. One of my main characters in A Chance to Say Yes, gallerist Poppy Craft-Talbot lives in a high-rise condo, Solarmarina, on this very spot. Here is her POV, as she idles in the cool shadow of her building. The sun is rising to her right. She is gzaing North-Northwest up the sandy shore that fronts the Gulf of Mexico, just north of Naples, Florida, USA.

I love this image. I can imagine myself as Poppy by looking through her eyes. I can hardly wait until her story is there for me to read and enjoy! Gwen

Thanks, Gwen. I"m glad to know you like it. I really enjoy taking photographs. It will be possible to do a whole pictorial display to accompany A Chance to Say Yes. That is something I would love to do.

I've heard that when we read a book, we see outselves as each one of the characters. These POV shots are a great way to enhance that experience, expecially for anyone who hasn't been lucky enough to visit Naples, Florida. Can't wait for your novel and the full pictorial. ~ Gwen

Wait until we make the two-minute video to promote A Chance to Say Yes and the A Chance to Say Yes series. This, of course, I plan to do in my spare time. My Canadian author-friend Phyllis Smallman, whose debut mystery novel, Margarita Nights, is now available from www.amazon.ca, told me that when the book comes out, all heck breaks loose (that's my paraphrase of what she actually wrote). Somehow, I suppose, one finds the time to do it all. Hey, it's fun, right? Right!!! :)
